手加減が大事古家の障子張り

tekagen ga daiji kooku no shôji hari    Suwa, Iori

a great deal of knack

人間の現実。その嘆きが俳句になる。
This is human reality. The distress becomes haiku.




埋火や死ぬまで夢を追ふもよし

uzumibi ya shinu made yume o ou mo yoshi    Miki, Noriyuki

banked fire ——
that will be all right too
chasing a dream till you die

埋火で味が深くなった。
The haiku becomes profound with “banked fire.”
